L&C Cora La Perle

One of the first styles we designed for Lulu & Cat, Cora La Perle is bold, fun and filled with meaning.  Hand-knotted from the classic hitch knot by Cat, the base of the necklace is a steady space in which Lulu then weaves luminous freshwater pearls on silky color-contrast nylon string.  The hitch knot is beloved by sailors, climbers and the like for its ability to bind one object securely to another.  We adore the symbolism of strength and groundedness that this necklace transmits.  

Finished with an easy-on easy-off magnet closure and our Lulu & Cat logo disc, this will be a special piece in your jewelry wardrobe for years to come.

We're so excited to bring you Lulu & Cat - a new collaboration between artist Cat Donohue and Lulu Frost founder Lisa Salzer.  Cat is a talented fiber artist who creates large-scale work, and for this unique collection of jewelry, she hand-weaves each piece, one knot at a time.  Lisa and team then add classic Lulu Frost custom hardware and bespoke hand-beading in a variety of vintage and antique beads, freshwater pearls, and precious/semi-precious gemstones.  Adorned with a custom charm tag, these Lulu & Cat pieces remind you to "find a smile".
