L&C Cora La Chaine

Cora La Chaine is one of our best-sellers, due to its soft feel and glint of golden chain.  The versatile necklace is made out of 100% recycled and braided soft cotton cordage in classic go-with-everything colors.  We hand-knot the cord in a series of hitch knots, forming an arching pattern that is then woven through with a delicate gold-plated chain.   The classic hitch knot is used by sailors, climbers and other cool people to fix a rope securely to another object.  In this case, the rope relies on another rope to hold and symbolizes relying on oneself and knowing one's inner strength and worth.  The Cora La Chaine is completed with an easy-on easy-off magnet closure, custom hardware and a Lulu & Cat logo charm disc.

We're so excited to bring you Lulu & Cat - a new collaboration between artist Cat Donohue and Lulu Frost founder Lisa Salzer.  Cat is a talented fiber artist who creates large-scale work, and for this unique collection of jewelry, she hand-weaves each piece, one knot at a time.  Lisa and team then add classic Lulu Frost custom hardware and bespoke hand-beading in a variety of vintage and antique beads, freshwater pearls, and precious/semi-precious gemstones.  Adorned with a custom charm tag, these Lulu & Cat pieces remind you to "find a smile".
