Swooping metalwork with a tulip motif crowns the top of this fob seal charm c1900s. Its faceplate is not engraved and ready for your monogram.

Materials: Gilt brass and gold filled metalwork. These types of charms were quite popular from the 1880s into the early 1900s. They were typically engraved with the owner's monogram. In the later years, they were largely decorative, but in early years they would have been used to make an impression in wax to seal correspondence.

Measurements: 1 3/4" total drop x 3/4" at widest.
