Handcrafted in 18 karat gold-plated solid brass, our signature Plaza Number Charms are an enduring classic, beloved for over 20 years.  Our proprietary fob clip mechanism allows each charm to be placed on a chain or cord of your choice, allowing for endless possibilities.

A bit of background on the Plaza Collection; in 2005, Lulu Frost founder and designer Lisa Salzer purchased the original room numbers and letter signs during the renovation of NYC's iconic Plaza Hotel. With foresight, Salzer turned about 2500 original numbers into wearable pendants on chains that quickly sold out at Barneys New York. As the pieces were scooped up, Lisa worked with a local foundry to create molds from the originals, allowing this storied font to continue.  Fun fact: the letters Lisa procured were: WOMEN, MEN, & BATH, from the ladies and men's rooms. Using the rules of those letters, she and her team wax-carved the remaining initials by hand to complete the alphabet.  As the line's popularity grew, the brand's signature swivel fob clip was added to each charm, allowing for interchangeability and versatility.  20 years later, these personal and timeless charms have become a Lulu Frost staple, speaking to and for clients around the world.
