Dermatologist's Choice launched 50 years ago rich in family history, similar to Lulu Frost, what was the inspiration for the line?

When Dr. Bottiglione started Dermatologist’s Choice in 1981, it was developed out of a real need and desire to give his patients access to effective, clinical-strength skincare without needing a prescription. As a dermatologist, he saw the gap between what was available over-the-counter and what we used in-office. He wanted to bring powerful, results-driven treatments into everyday routines.

Like Lulu Frost, our brand is built on legacy and intention — my family specifically, as Dr. Bottiglione's daughter, I'm now helping to carry that vision forward and keeping our family values of quality, honesty, and care at the heart of the brand.

What are some skin care tips or routines that were passed down to you from your mother or grandmother?

As a daughter of a dermatologist and a model, keeping my skin looking its best is a priority. My mother always wore a hat and stayed out of the sun. Growing up in AZ, this is sometimes difficult but it was well taught to me that the sun is the #1 cause of aging skin. Other skin tips I've learned from my mom is to wash your face before bed with a gentle cleanser and soft cloth to ensure all the makeup and oils are removed before bed. Plus, an active night treatment cream is a must like the Dermatologist's Choice Facial Enhancement Cream.

Especially, when we were out all day in the sun at a swim meet for school, my mom always remembered to apply her active night cream to repair the skin from any sun damage. Other fun beauty tips I've learned from my mom is never forget your lipstick and a fun eye look.
