Last week we celebrated our Fall/Winter 2015 collection with an interactive press preview complete with floral arranging, delicious Owl’s Brew and, as always, an abundant display of jewelry. The collection, titled “Nightshade,” is named for the rare plants that inspire both awe and a touch of fear, courtesy of their poisonous qualities. In an effort to reinvent the darker side of beauty in this collection, designer Lisa Salzer drew on her vast knowledge of Victorian culture and its borderline obsession with mortality.

In line with the theme of Nightshade, editors were encouraged to create their own floral arrangement with guidance from the designer herself. It was a fun affair – a peek at what’s to come this fall, which includes dark-gold metal settings and matte black finishes (bringing about an edgier side to the line’s traditional femininity).
